Router - a device that connects two or more networks together

Protocol - a set of rules for communicating

DNS - domain name system, translates IP addresses and human-readable domain names

IP address - a unique address on a network, may look like 192.168.1.1

Internet - the world-wide connection of networks

World Wide Web - a part of the Internet consisting of Web pages using HTTP

HTTP - the main protocol of the World Wide Web

HTML - the language used by web pages
